You can join DAODS as a full member or as a Patron (non performing) member. Please note that if you wish to become a full member then you will need to audition.
Auditions
New members auditions are usually held twice a year after our main shows at Heathfields Hall, Heath Lane, Dartford
Our next New Members Audition will be listed on our News and Events page.
For the audition you will need to bring with you your own music, learn it and be prepared to sing alone. You will need a copy for yourself and one for the accompanist. Please select something that will best show off your voice. Some movement (not necessarily dance) will also be set on the night, so make sure you have some kind of soft shoe, not your street shoes or high heels. Please also bring with you a short (2-3 minutes) section of dialogue from a script of your choice that you have familiarised yourself with and be prepared to act this out.
